Live Webinar: Using Memory Assessment to Inform Targeted Interventions: Identifying Strengths to Overcome Attention and Learning Difficulties
Description of Webinar
Difficulties with attention and learning are often complex to diagnose. Adding a well-conducted memory assessment to your testing battery can provide critical insights into the underlying cognitive processes at play for your client. This presentation will explore the information processing model as a framework for understanding where and why an individual may struggle with attention and learning.
The session will include practical examples, case discussions, and guidance on interpreting memory test scores in a meaningful way for clinical application. Participants will be better equipped to use memory assessment findings to develop targeted strategies for improving their clients’ learning and attention outcomes.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this webinar, the learner will be able to:
- Use memory assessment results to pinpoint specific processing and learning breakdowns;
- Identify ways memory strengths can be leveraged to support learning and attention; and
- Explain how to tailor interventions and accommodations based on an individual’s testing profile.
