Given the evolving landscape of legislative demands and recommended guidelines for dyslexia across the nation, it is imperative that schools move forward collaboratively to address the needs of students through screening, identification, intervention, and progress monitoring. This presentation focuses on helping a variety of professionals work together as a team to utilize resources, processes, and various assessment tools to effectively support students with dyslexia.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this on-demand webinar, the learner will be able to:
- Analyze important resources and processes needed for teams of professionals to address dyslexia;
- Describe how team members can collaborate to become more effective in early screening, identification/diagnosis, intervention, and progress monitoring; and

Presenter Bio
Stephanie Roberts, MA, CAS earned her BA in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She then received her MA and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from Towson University in Maryland. She worked in public education for 19 years, 17 of which were as a school psychologist in Maryland Public Schools, before joining WPS as an Assessment Consultant. After working with WPS for 5 years, she transitioned to Senior Assessment Consultant and eventually, in 2022, Business Development Manager. In addition to being a school psychologist, she has been active in her national, state, and local associations. She has served on the board of directors for the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and as NASP delegate for Maryland. She has also served on the board of the Maryland School Psychologists’ Association as president, legislative chairperson, newsletter editor, program co-chairperson, and several other roles. She was a member of the legislative committee for both the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) and the Howard County Education Association (HCEA). She served on the board of directors and negotiations committee for HCEA. During the 2013–2014 school year, she was appointed to serve on the Governor’s Commission on Special Education Access and Equity as a representative of the Maryland School Psychologists’ Association. She has an interest in leadership development and strategic planning for organizations, and she took part in the development of a strategic plan for NASP. She has been presented the MSPA Presidential Award for her service to MSPA and school psychology in Maryland on four occasions (2003, 2005, 2006, and 2008), and was presented with the NASP Presidential Award in recognition of exceptional services to children and school psychology in 2019. She has presented on a variety of education-related topics over the last 24 years.

Assessment professionals including neuropsychologists, school psychologists, clinical psychologists, teachers, special education teachers, reading specialists/interventionists, speech–language pathologists (SLPs), board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), licensed behavior analysts (LBAs), behavior specialists, counselors, and occupational therapists (OTs).
Agenda
The on-demand courses are designed to be self-paced. You can start and stop as needed. You must watch the videos in their entirety before taking the CE test.
Registration and Confirmation
Customers will purchase their course on the WPS website by adding selected item(s) to their cart and completing their transaction with a credit card. Customers who wish to pay with a purchase order will need to contact a representative at 844-378-4918. Once payment is rendered, customers will receive a sales order confirmation email, followed by an email that contains the License Key link. Customers will click on the link to register on the WPS website or sign in if they have already registered. There, customers will be able to access course(s). Once registered, customers will receive a registration confirmation email.
Refund/Cancellation Policy and Late Registration/Transfer Fees
The on-demand courses available through the WPS Professional Learning Center (WPS ProLearn™) cannot be returned after they have been accessed and cannot be transferred.
Webinar Completion Requirements
To obtain your Certificate of Completion for on-demand CE courses, you must first watch the video. Then, answer the questions contained in the post-test on the WPS Professional Learning Center (WPS ProLearn™) and submit the post-test for scoring. A post-course evaluation survey will also be provided for you to submit feedback to WPS.
In order for a Certificate to be issued, you must pass the post-test with a score of 75% or higher. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will be allowed two opportunities to retake the post-test. If you do not pass after a total of three attempts, you will need to repurchase access to the materials. We recommend that you make a copy of your post-test answers for your records before submitting them to WPS for scoring. All Certificates of Completion will be provided electronically in the WPS ProLearn system. No partial credit will be awarded.
